Anticholinergic drugs have a lot of side effects and some side effects are serious. They are not the preferred drugs.  Levodopa has serious side effects and of a recession efficacy. In this case, there is no other good method except changing to or adding bromocriptine. And the two drugs have problems of recession efficacy. There is need to develop new anti-Parkinson drugs.
